Each winter, after a fresh snowfall near my Paradise Valley studio I was always delighted to find a set of fox tracks meandering in and out of the Juniper trees. The tracks were always a pleasant surprise since I only actually saw a fox a few times. They were shy and silent but I always visualized how perfect this dash of red might have looked as he searched for food in this frozen world.
